A few things to say about this one...

There are no Eskimos living in the Yukon. We're pretty much limited to the NWT, Nunavut, and Quebec/Labrador.

I know several gay eskimos. They are quite normal as far as homosexuals go.

We don't have "tribes".

I've never heard of any Eskimo named Tarka. Nuckfluck Upchuck, however, is a real name, and does in fact wear whaleskin tights.

I hate cultural ignorance like it. I hate it more when this ignorance is celebrated on the sift.

Does anyone else see anything wrong with dumb tourists walking around with a video camera, making fun of food that other people eat. These guys obviously disliked this food before they ever opened the can, and their dramatic hamming-up for camera was silly and juvenile.

I would bet that fish tastes very good if you tried it with an open mind.

Besides, if you ever want to try something really nasty, back home in Nunavut we ferment walrus meat by wrapping it in walrus skin, burying it in a beach for a few weeks, and then digging it back up. I won't go near that shit, but this stuff is CANNED man, it can't be too bad.
