DOGE Is Not Cutting Government Spending

newtboy says...

*promote *quality facts

Economists agree, the at random blanket cuts to cost saving agencies and programs being made at random are not saving any money at all, they are costing money and services while hurting citizens by ending hard negotiated assistance programs, which is the point not saving money.

The under 1% ($115 billion maximum if you believe the constant liars) of the budget cut at random will cost over 10% of gdp, put hundreds of thousands out of work permanently, put millions on the streets homeless with nothing left to lose by robbing people and everything to gain, it has already cost thousands their farms or ranches or businesses, slowed commerce to a crawl, and has already been spent like a drunken sailor 100 times over on unnecessary things like raising the military budget by $120 billion and a now $6 trillion tax break (and rising) for the 1% and a self imposed $7-$11 trillion loss in the stock market just to name 3 of dozens of massive expenditures.

If only these really were savings and not simply wealth transfers from the poor to the uber-rich, states like California (that pays for the welfare that goes to red states) would be 100% in favor of them, we can pay for our own social programs and save the 90% of our tax dollars we pay for yours, but Texas and Florida and the other red welfare states will go bankrupt this year without the tens of billions a year they take from blue states with healthy economies (Texas paid $18 billion in and took $89 billion out from the fed as just one example).
Notice, no rebate checks are coming, your taxes aren’t going down one cent, but all the services and protections they have historically provided are either going or already gone.

Not born yet receive Tax Dollars

newtboy says...

As expected. All 100% bullshit.

These “unborn recipients” were largely created in 2020 when unemployment fraud and identity theft were rampant during the Trump economic crash (over 15% of the millions of unemployment claims were fraudulent) and agencies were directly encouraged to protect real citizens from the consequences of these identity thefts by tying the fraudulent applications to BLATANTLY fake people, like people who weren’t born or were over 150 years old, to preserve the records of the fraud but not in the victim’s name and file.
This all stems from a Trump era classification system, coming directly from the first Trump administration, and now they pretend they know absolutely nothing about it and call it fraud. Much like his trade agreement he made with Mexico and Canada that he now calls horrible for America, or the trade agreements he made with China he says lets them rip us off. 😂

Another case of the idiots calling out their own incompetence, like canceling $8 million contracts after payment has been made and calling that a “savings” of $8 billion (when it’s actually a waste of $8 million).
Now Musk is claiming to have “saved” $115 billion (without showing his work this time, so no fact checking) so Trump has promised to raise military spending by $120 billion, so $5 billion more debt than savings already in one move IF you believe the numbers from the man who hasn’t been able to support 1% his claims yet. Not one dime of taxpayer money “saved”.
Maybe Musk should hire an economist who understands numbers, not just incel neoNazi IT guys ironically named “big balls” who can’t do the most basic of math or accounting.

Trump Officials Text Journalist Top Secret War Plans

newtboy says...

Sweet fucking zombie Geebus!
Many of these officials including Hegseth, Gabbard, and Waltz have their phone #, emails, login names, passwords, and more available on commercial public databases, including login and passwords for Signal….but it gets better….Hegseth’s email (and maybe others) is a .RU mail server….RUSSIAN. phegseth@mail.ru

Trump Officials Text Journalist Top Secret War Plans

Now Der Speigel, a German news outlet, has found the active cell phone numbers, email accounts, and passwords for Waltz, Gabbard, Hegseth, and others involved in this massive security breach, all easily found online.
Yes, passwords, including passwords and logins for Signal. Everything they said could easily have been intercepted (and may have been).
Maybe this is why using your private phone and private apps is specifically prohibited by the espionage act, and why they’re all guilty of treason by any reading of the law.

The specific attack details, with named targets like the main missile engineer, their exact locations like his girlfriend’s apartment, the exact expected time of attack, and even type of aircraft being used (f-16 and tomahawk missiles), the order they will attack (f-16s 30 minutes after missiles), and where they’re coming from was all totally exposed hours before the attack began on this app that is banned from use for governmental purposes because it is not secure. It is a miracle the Houthis didn’t intercept the messages and planes.
Also exposed were the undercover CIA agents in Yemen that supplied the locations of targets, their names were one of the few things redacted by Goldberg.

Gabbard listening to her own department’s written standards for what must be classified, then a reading of the texts that are exactly what was just described as mandatory classification (attack plans), then trying to defend her lie yesterday that no classified information had been texted is priceless…so is watching her “find out” that one of those on the thread was literally inside the Kremlin when the messages were sent, literally on Putin’s wifi.

Hilariously, the absolutely clueless potus when asked about Hegseth’s culpability said “Hegseth? How do you bring Hegseth into this? He had nothing to do with it.” Somebody might want to tell him.
Yesterday he seemed to not know there had been an attack, or a leak. “I know nothing about it.”
Edit: This morning he admitted he also has no knowledge of the missing 4 US soldiers in Lithuania, missing since Tuesday morning. It sure seems like he’s just there to go on tv, not do work.

Q: He doesn’t even know what’s happening, how could he possibly be directing our responses?
A: He isn’t.

Trudeau says Canadians are angry

newtboy says...

Canada and Mexico should not pause their tariffs, and should add 100% export taxes to Canadian energy (so America pays and Canada keeps the money). America cannot keep the lights on without it, we will pay anything to keep it coming, and the Canadians know it, just like Mexico knows we can’t keep food on the shelves without Mexican produce (soon exclusively since American farms can’t find workers to be able to produce produce).

The stupidest trade war in history is an apt name for this fiasco. Every penny doge could ever save has been squandered already with the losses this intentional commercial uncertainty has caused, and the negative effects are just beginning.

Ozzy Man Reviews: Destination Cucked! - Cybertruck Fails #2

Maybe so about the parts ordering, I can’t find that, still wouldn’t sit well with me that my car could order it’s own parts in my name…and I would expect abuse, especially considering the company owner.

I don’t have one to read the warranty directly, but not covering any damages incurred off the pavement even on flat level dirt roads or driveways is not normal for a truck, especially a 4x4. Fords come with an off road package and do not exclude damages/failures that happen on maintained dirt roads or flat level grass (maybe excluding potholes)…and they don’t get stuck on either!

I feel I can safely say no other truck voids the warranty for “exposure to sunlight, wind, or water”, listed on the “warranty”.

https://www.reddit.com/r/RealTesla/comments/1d0ld6y/tesla_cybertruck_warranty_doesnt_include/

Tesla is well known for covering nothing off dry pavement including damage from puddles or mud (neither of which should damage a truck, and don’t damage Fords).

The parts thing only happens when vehicles and replacement parts are under warranty. @newtboy If you can find the source showing the warranty is voided driving a Cybertruck in the grass then I'll find the same language in the warranty docs for Fords.

This stuff is funny and Tesla doesn't deserve any leeway since their CEO has apparently gone"fact free" lately, but pushing easy to discredit "facts" seems like it distracts from the real issues with these vehicles and the company as a whole.

Another fun fact: all teslas can “sense” when a part is going bad and order new parts directly to the dealership in your name, only notifying you when your parts are ready for installation. No way Elon would abuse that system to fleece his customers, is there?

Also fun fact: driving a cyber truck in the grass voids the warranty, as do rough roads, potholes, mud, and puddles. Not the case for the Ford that costs 1/2 as much for a real truck that can truck.
