Magnolia Deleted Scene - How To Get Pussy: Techniques #1&2
Forget PTAnderson, the reason why Cruise was good in Magnolia is because unlike in other movies in this one he didn't have to pretend to be somebody else.
SNL Digital Short - Lazy Sunday
Lazy Sunday, wake up in the late afternoon.
Call Parnell just to see how he’s doin’.

Boogie Nights - Deleted Scenes 1/3
Such a good movie. Magnolia was good too, but this is still P.T. Anderson best work.
Man on a wire - WTC tightrope walk by Philippe Petit
This seems to be quite the gem among documentaries and this year's film in general. Good job sifting this, maatc
imdb users' votes give a rating of 8.5, yet its Rotten Tomatoes score is a perfect 100%. Yes, this means all of its 56 professionals' reviews submitted as of this moment are positive, which doesn't really happen that often (Dark Hyped and Wall-E got 94 and 96, respectively).
Also, see the HD version of this trailer on the Apple site.

Oh, and I KNOW you will want to vote this up...

Magnolia opening scene (featuring One by Aimee Mann)
Well,
a) that into is a beautiful and immensely entertaining way to open the film, and
b) it establishes the notion that, yes, strange things can and do happen, such as -- oh, I don't know -- frogs raining from the sky.
I think it's a pretty awesome way to start the film, and I would have sifted it myself but someone beat me to it (and on a somewhat related note, that's one ant downvote that I just can't understand).
Tom Cruise can eat planets!
Wow, this guy has it dead on. His voice is nearly perfect except the laugh seems a bit high pitched. The facial expressions and mannerisms are amazing and that seems to make this video, apart from being hilarious. I thought this was one of the interview scenes in Magnolia for the first few seconds.

Aimee Mann - Wise Up {live}
Actually, fissionchips, it just seems that way because the songs fit so perfectly with the movie. PT Anderson has actually said that listening to Mann's songs is where a lot of the inspiration for Magnolia came from, and he even used a line from one of the songs as a line of dialogue in the film.
Aimee Mann - Wise Up {live}
I added Magnolia to the tags because this song is used so perfectly in that film, it practically feels like it was written specifically for that purpose (I know that I'll never in a million years be able to hear this song without instantly thinking about Magnolia).
Aimee Mann - Wise Up {live}

Red Violin - Solace
I thought this was a great movie, though I must admit that I am a little conflicted about the movie's ending. I understood from the get-go that this movie was about the most brilliant violin ever created, but I still had a hard time reconciling that with the story of an instrument expert (Samuel L. Jackson) committing theft to procure said instrument.
Now please, please, PLEASE don't tell me that even 'distinguished folks' also break the law. Yes, I already know that. They do it every day. However there was something that felt just a little bit tawdry and deus ex machina about the ending to me. I realize that no divine intervention took place, but for this guy to walk away with this beautiful instrument like the most supreme cat burglar ruffled my feathers just a wee bit, to the point where it detracted from the quality of the whole film.
I hate to be a stickler film critic, but I felt like the ending pulled the rug out from under me. HOWEVER, I won't be TOO harsh. I reserve such harshness for such movies that like 'Magnolia', which totally stole my heart until the goddamn motherfucking frogs rained from the sky like a hail storm. Even Old Testament Yahweh rolled his eyes at the one, saying "Oy! Once was enough!"

You're in for a treat. It's a great film that, just like Magnolia, gets better each time you watch it. Let me know what you think.

Magnolia trailer
While Magnolia is filled with amazing individual performances (Cruise's, in particular), I must admit that when I first saw this film, I hated it... which is rare for me, and also odd because I loved Boogie Nights. Whenever that happens, I tell myself to wait awhile and see it a second time before I pass judgement.
I can't wait to see it again now.
