This video is not adult only, I agree. I don't see what it has to do with kids. I suggest that you keep non-kids stuff out of the kids channel.

This is funny for the same reason the "Sesame Street sketch" on MadTv is funny. Big bird gets bird flu, Oscar the grouch has to register as a sex offender.

You can only characterize this a kids video if you ignore the intention of the gag. Even looking at the title, "Cookie Monster Death Metal" gives me the impression that this is not for kids.

You have to be in the madtv/poetry-artform kind of mindset for this kind of comedy.

Really funny. MadTV is great with their setups, but they can't end a skit to save their life. It's all about the journey, I guess.

That's pretty funny. MadTV does some good music video parodies.

Well you're right, you can't alter the embed code on a discarded post, but when I found a replacement for this vid I still asked Rembar to save it. Then I changed it later.

Just call in a favor from a fellow sifter and ask them to make sure they point out that you're going to swap the embeds later, that way people don't dead them again.

But I see you're point that it gets aggravating that you can't resurrect these videos yourself.

Yea. Heavyhanded is putting it mildly, but I think the really big surprise here is that something even mildly amusing came from MadTV. That alone is kind of scary.

Got a bit tired at too much troops in, troops out, felt they could've thrown in some more satires, but overall it's a nice combination of two parodies. Never expected such intelligence from MadTV.

Anyways, what's all this making fun of others trying to be helpful?

Every boring Star Trek/Shatner joke. I'll give MadTV the benefit of the doubt and assume this is a very old episode (Will Sasso isn't as hugely fat these days). But yawn.

Never liked MadTV, always painfully stupid to me. Shame it makes up 98% of Comedy Central's programming schedule.
