Baby Elephant Frolics On The Beach

Why is it on a beach?

Because that's where the rich tourists are that will pay for baby elephant rides? What I want to know is where is it's mother, and why isn't she trampling everyone in the area? I mean, just imagine if a capuchin monkey stole your baby to show off to it's tribe. You'd kick some monkey ass wouldn't you? Any good parent would.

Oh, it's ant. I mean, imagine if a swarm of aphids stole your larva? Maybe?

FYI, ants don't last these nest setup.

Yeah, the gel contains enough water and nutrients for the ants' short term survival, but not the protein needed for queens and larvae.

Also, ants' tunnels are normally underground so shining a bright blue led on their nest isn't really going to encourage natural behaviour.

Here's yet another variety of insect that our world can do without.

Speaking of which... where's Kirk Cameron to tell me that God invents all life with our benefit in mind?

Then again, maybe God wanted us to all get together on a Friday night, get drunk, and yell "OOOOOHH! DUUUDE!" as we pull botfly larvae out of each other's backs. I take it back... clearly this is part of God's plan!

"The cyst is a hydatid cyst, which is the result of a parasitic infection by tapeworm larvae(Echinococcus). Generally speaking, it does not occur in the USA, but rather occurs in Mediterranean countries, the Middle East, the southern part of South America, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, and southern parts of Africa. The cysts, which are initiated by one larvae, eventually come to house thousands of tapeworm larvae. So it is very important not to rupture the cyst during its removal, else the host could easily die. The cysts can occur in any organ, in this case, the brain... "
