really????
do you ever feel happy?????

Never understood the fascination with these clowns.

Most of the time, as of late, but never because of a bunch of flabby naked guys in Halloween masks. I laughed when I saw the title, because the thought of GWAR going carolling is certainly amusing, but the video was boring and predictable for me.

Though I love that they're still around.. I saw them live in like, 1990 (and they'd been around for a good while before then). Is it even the same people under the costumes??

They have replaced 2 members from the original band. They plan on systematically replacing members over time as they get older and don't want to tour anymore so that GWAR will be around forever.

Honestly, how many people can recognize them without the costumes, or knows their real names?

He'll I'm a die hard fan from the early 90s and I can only recognize, name a few of them.

Mister Fisk just happens to be a bartender here in Lincoln and I met him after GWAR raped my mind tonight. As cool a cat as you would expect. He was even kind enough to put a Captain 'n Coke on the house for me and made them nice & potent.

Cheers to you, good Sir! *promote

Ha, Thanks Bea.
I used to have a video of these guy when they were just starting out on a CD from some video magazine.
Originally, the group was formed by a bunch of them who were Fine Arts Student and wanted to do something with their art training so they started making the masks and costumes which became performance art and evolved into the music group. I was just coming out of out of my fifth your of art school myself when I first hear of them so they clicked with me right away! Art students make the best friends!

I've been interested in Gwar since first seeing them on the movie "Hardware". Granted, Ministry was dubbed over their video in the movie, but at the time I thought they were the coolest shit ever.
