Anyone here like Aquariums for a hobby ? (Pets Talk Post)
@kymbos Fresh water my friend. The salt I put in is glorified kitchen sea salt now that I have read about it. Yes it is put in the freshwater to help with the internal ph of the fish, same way we use electrolytes I assume. I had a little blip recently with my 5 gallon month old tank, found that this salt is something handy to use when setting up a tank as well as general use for fish well being.
I am partial to Eel like creatures, khuli loaches and such.

What is it good for? Of course to take out today's modern super animals, such as the flying squirrel, and the electric eel. end of lenny-quote

What Happens when an Alligator Bites an Electric Eel?
Mutually assured destruction.
I just want to know what he was planning todo with the eel he caught. From the sounds of it he didn't have many intentions of letting it go with or without the gator attached. How was he planning to discharge the eel? Did he even know it was an electric eel at first? He certainly knew after.
Pretty darn amazing!
What Happens when an Alligator Bites an Electric Eel?
Could be an episode of Alligator Jackass.

What Happens when an Alligator Bites an Electric Eel?
It's not that wasteful if they were fishing for alligator... caiman .... whatever. I've not had electric eel or alligator meat, but I imagine the alligator tastes better.

Call me a tree hugger but, seems a little cruel to hold an electric eel on a string and let an alligator bite it just to see what would happen...
It makes it more funny for me. So you go out fishing, and catch and electric eel. As your trying to figure out how to get the stupid thing off the hook without getting shocked, an alligator climbs up on the beach beside the eel. Now your trying to figure out how to get your hook back without getting electrocuted OR bitten by the gator. As you start filming this improbable dilemma, nature comes and solves all your problems in a way that nobody would believe unless you'd been filming it.
