Summoner 2 Interviews

Through the Fire and Flames -=- DragonForce

Abducted says...

Well I'm getting 'Video no longer available' in Eurup.

I find it saddening that everyone just knows DF as that band from GH. They are a true power metal band, cheesy and fast. It's all about trying to cram in as much cool words as humanly possible, which they have mastered.

"in flames of death's eternal reign we ride towards the fight"
how cool isn't that?

"Even with all the references to battles of steel and the burning of fire and flames, it's still pretty impressive that DragonForce was able to use the word "pain" an incredible 26 times in only eight songs (and that doesn't even count how many times it's repeated in the chorus). After listening to the lead singer's voice and watching their videos, it's most surprising that the word "pussy" doesn't appear once. That word was apparently not included with the Dungeons and Dragons magnetic poetry set the band used to write their lyrics."

Go see the graph on that site! Other words they like include Burn, Fight, Fire, Freedom, Fly, Sky and of course Steel.

TV still has no f*cking idea how games work

Phone sex - for geeks (SNL)

Which should I be more ashamed of: the fact that I know a) dungeon masters don't have a character level, b) half-orc is a race and not a class, c) there is no such thing as a druidic monk, d) saving throws are a passive act and cannot be "cast," and e) if one were to make a saving throw, they would use a twenty-sided die not a twelve sided one; or that the mistakes of the Dungeons and Dragons nerd enraged me so deeply that I felt compelled to comment about it.

According to my wife, the author of this series is pretentious and maybe a bit arrogant. On a note on this movie, Jeremy Irons is in it. Who remembers the Dungeons and Dragons movie?
