Anyone else feel that this was soooooooo stereotypically Mexican?? I sense a strong DIY-build-EVERYTHING-out-of-ANYTHING-attitude-to-stretch-the-budget-mentality from his parent. I know that few of my Hispanic friends often like to make their own wallets out of folded duct tape and sewing their own clothes to make it look unique.
What I'm saying is that if this kid was born in the suburbs of Palo Alto going to an Apple Inc. funded school, he would've had better equipment and resources to play with and probably was in line to be the next Bill Gates.
