- I have figured out exactly who is behind everything and it's the people that I read about on the internet and have seen on TV! If I do not understand an ideology or have no personal experience of something, it hasn't happened! There is no government more powerful than that of the US - they control EVERYTHING and I know ALL THERE IS TO KNOW about them!

If this were true you would all be dead; like real dissidents in Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Zimbabwe, DR Congo, Belarus, all Arab states except Iraq and the West Bank, Iran etc etc...

But I think the main point you are all missing is that "WHY THE FUCK ARE THESE PEOPLE STILL IN THEIR CARS WHEN THE 'WALL' IS FORMED". Those so called road police morons not only decided to make a road block with civilian cars, but apparently they also think that the civilians should remain in their cars just in case the drunk driver won't stop so they can drive their cars to chase him down and form a new road block just ahead!

There is no question that Belarus had been spared the plundering of its natural resource, the complete and utter collapse of its social and economic system to the extent that was seen in Russia and almost all other counties of the former USSR. So the overall standard of living has been maintained, where as it dropped 10 fold in other breakaway republics and hasn't recovered since for the most part. So poverty is rather relative!

after all I've got relatives living in Belarus. not exactly first-hand knowledge, but it's close. stories like those make me appreciate how lucky one is living in the EU instead of the C"I"S, of which Belarus might be the most favorable one, if not the most democratic one (if you know what I mean, *wink* *wink*)...
