Metal Head Kids from Hip Hop Neighborhood Tell Their Story
These Three 11-Year-Olds Are Way More Metal Than You has been added as a related post - related requested by zombieater.
Kid not sure how to handle broken cymbals during anthem
Eh.. in this case the video is basically kid friendly anyway, show this to a 5-11 year old and they'd most likely laugh.
@ant kids channel is FOR kids, not about kids.
Best Birthday Surprise Ever!!
You could totally be right VoodooV.
And if that's the case, this is the sort of thing that might increase the chances of that happening. The bullied often become bullies - as they try to prove they aren't the weak/different ones.
This video makes fun of an 11 year old kid, without his consent, in arguably a pretty cruel way. That's the definition of bullying, online or otherwise, While we laugh virally at his expense. Not cool, I say.
why do you think he'll get bullied? if anything, I would think he would fall into the "future bully" camp
Celebrity Encounters (Blog Entry by lucky760)
I've met a few heavyweight jazz musicians-Dizzy Gillespie, Marcus Roberts, Sonny Rollins, McCoy Tyner, Herbie Mann, uhhh...Met B.B. KIng after a show (all these are in passing after shows) Partied with Ike Willis a couple times in different states (guitar player for Zappa for years)
Played 3 holes of golf onna photo shoot with Nolan Ryan when he pitched for the Astros.
Met a few rock stars, Met and spoke with Roger Daltrey when I was 11 years old atta Mall record shop in Dallas(1976 NA Tour, last with Kieth Moon) , my mom was standing in line to get her albums autographed, and then when it was her turn, she grabbed Daltrey by his head and hi-jacked him with a wet one, got a picture of that one...Daltrey looked overwhelmed and looked over at me and asked, "That your mum?!"
Most impressive star-saturation came Labor Day weekend, 1975 in Atoka Oklahoma atta 3-day outdoor concert event...camp out-I was 10, found a backstage pass onna chain, and wandered around backstage and on buses with a fuckload of country stars.
Waylon Jennings, Jerry Jeff Walker, can't remember em all, I was a little kid but i remember a lotta musicians tripping on me running around backstage-Some thought I was just a roadie's kid.
Met Jerry Lee Lewis backstage there....
11 Year Old Brings Handgun to School For "Protection" - TYT
Cenk, misinterpreting the report (yet again), stating that the 11 year old pulled out the gun as a result of a conflict, yet nothing in Anna's report suggests that this is at all what happened.
Sounded more like the 11 year old pulled out the gun to "show off," and then it created a conflict.
This "news" reporter needs to spend a bit more time learning how to listen and evaluate the facts and less time on his soap box, turning news items into vendettas for a personal axe to grind...
Eric Hovind Debates a 6th Grader
You've lost if you're arguing with an 11 year old at all.
Arguing with an 11 year old... and losing. Pure. Gold.

TEDxTeen - Jacob Barnett: Forget What You Know
I think he actually wanted to talk about two things during his speech. One of the point was to say he had accomplished all these great things despite doctors telling him he will never speak. That explains his over-cockiness. Except he never really says this in the beginning, and presents a different topic, which was at you need time to think on your own.
I think the speech would have been much more successful had he not tried to combine two topics all at once. But then again he's 11 years old. He's still human, despite his amazing accomplishments.

That's how simple the game was?? Goddamn it, the 11 year old me never was able to beat it.
These videos make it look a lot easier than it was. One slightly mis-timed jump, or failing to stop in time for a ledge, and it was often instant death.
I shudder to think of the number of times I used to run straight into the very first guard and die immediately because I didn't slow down soon enough to be able to draw my sword.
I made it to level 4 about three times, but definitely no more than that, and never completed it - those yellow guards were crazy hard to beat.

I did manage to beat it back in the day. Once you knew the game it was fairly easy. The difficulty was due to having to figure out the levels on the fly while you were up against that 1 hour time limit.

Hey, don't think my 11 year old son doesn't still try and pull things like that. (try getting him out to rake the leaves or pine needles.)
My 15 year old daughter on the other hand replies with anger and contempt but is essentially the same stubbornness. They also think if they just keep asking, eventually they will just get their way.
Patience and flat answers are are the way to go - tough sometimes but the right way.

I would expect to hear a reply like "Nooooo! Iiittttssss toooo haaarrrd! You're the meanest father in the whole world! (child slumps down to floor, bursts into loud theatrical sobbing)".

I can often be the first to over-analyze things - but as my wife tells me, "I over think things." So I'll just say, "don't argue, just put it in the sink."
Patience and parenting go hand in hand.

That's awesome. I can only hope that my son gets the same kind of inspiration. Make your sure you get the voice pack and turn it on in the settings - it adds a lot to the aliens.>> ^dannym3141:

Been playing UQM for the last few weeks with my 11-year-old. He absolutely loves it. Just goes to show that a good game is timeless. And SC2 is probably in the top 3 games ever made, IMHO.>> ^dannym3141:

I'm playing it now. It's funny you mention that dag, my dad bought this and i played it on his pc when i was something like 7, and i'd say it's the largest contributing factor to my adoration of space and why i'm getting my astrophysics degree now
