Are you satisfied with your job/career?
Sometimes I feel like I'm in the movie "Office Space" only it's worst because there's no married squirrels or red staplers. Oh, but there's Hawaiian shirt Fridays...every f*cking Friday.

...don't forget, you can wear your choice of pants, as long as they're jeans
I don't have a job! I'm starting weekends working at the skating rink on the 5th, but that's barely a job - I just get to skate around the whole time.
i like my job (at a concert venue). i need more/new work though so i probably will have to take a shitty job (callcenter work or something..) to have a decent monthly income.
I've been in the same job now for the past decade, although I have a hard time seeing myself for another decade. I voted for the 2nd option since I'm rarely challenged at work these days and its getting downright boring at times.
But hey, I get a total of a months worth of time off every year just from breaks/holidays not to mention what I can take on top of that. I can't complain too much.
What I hate about my job is being my boss. I seriously stink at being a boss. If I could, I would fire me. I would probably make much more money working for someone else as a result, but I'm happy. You didn't have a box for that.
Wage slavery. It's a bitch.
My favorite job in the world is working front desk at a sleepy motel. You get to read, write, and study to your heart's content, and as long as the cash drawer balances, you're usually okay.
Got my first contracting gig last week, and I think it's giving me stomach cramps. I like the people, but the project reminds me of the stuff that you see on the floor when you're house-breaking a litter of pups.
I can't figure out if I should stick it out and learn what I can, or dream up a really plausible lie so that I could bow out gracefully.
Ugh.....Self-employed is a bitch-Not been doing what I want to for the last 10 yrs-Change is on the horizon, life is good-Oh...pooor as shit, though. Still look great though...the secret?-Killing vampires, cleaning up other people's shit, and Saki.
SlipperyPete you shameless little vote-whore....
Right field, but not that far in it yet. In general I'm happy with my working choice.
^the streets bringing you good cash flow eh? Stroke those cocks, sweetie...stroke 'em
I'm very lucky. I love my field, I believe in my work, and I have a chance to make a difference in the world. This doesn't mean that I don't spend a fair amount of time frustrated, or even depressed about prevailing situations, but I also get excited and optimistic about the future or even small items that constitute progress. January 1 I will have had my job for 20 years.
nobody ever got rich working for someone else, but ill amend it to nobody ever lived the best life they could, working for someone else.
wage slavery indeed; i absolutely refuse to spend 40 years of my life working for someone else.
wheres that option?
I earn my living pushing my fingers through hundreds of tight, unwilling flaps every day. Sometimes women are pleased when my fingers work their magic, and other times they are not. And no, I'm not a gynecologist, I'm a lowly postal worker.
I now make things on the side of school. I like what I do but my income is really irregular (probably doesn't help that I'm not the best with mula). Don't drink/smoke/gamble so I'm pretty low maintenance.

It's hard work being a fluffer nowadays.

I thought that being a fluffer was always "hard work."
Grad student = "I'm in the right field, but looking for advancement".
Put me down as number 3. I school, but contract on the side. Doing important work, and I'm good at it, but I just feel it's work other folks should be doing - like I was meant for more.
I guess I'll squeeze in between #3 and #4.
Voting for this poll ended with the majority of users voting Everyday is the worst day of my life.
Well there you have it...
Let's go out there and try to find something that makes us happy. I'm on the road...are you?
Dang, I missed the poll. Mine is decent at a big well-known computer company and have been there since early 2002. Cool people. Commutes suck and sometimes long hours though, but I get OT and free food.
