favorite stop-motion animations, from any source.

"stop-motion" means the subject is being manipulated so that successive still images create the illusion of motion. it's a form of animation.

many stop-motion animations use clay models or other still life objects, but some of them use people.

favorite timelapses, from any source.

"timelapse" means the camera records images at regular intervals, so the change in a moving subject appears accelerated or compressed.

lots of these show the natural world (storms, astronomy, animals), but some of the most interesting are mechanical or technology-related.
