How is Ron Paul So Far Behind?

I come across videos like this, and I can only wonder how his "official" numbers are so low? Is it really possible that he DIDN'T have enough supporters? Or are there other reasons behind it? Media-aided cover ups? Conspiracy? I don't know, but it seems fishy.
