I never go on my facebook (literally once every month for 15 seconds if that) and I don't go on twitter. The reason why I have a smart phone is for work, the reason why I look at it is either to read and return an email or to read a news article.
I understand this overwhelming need to be connected to people, instead I choose to be antisocial. It has isolated me to the extreme in some cases, which is to bad but I see the positive. Not being beholden to everyone's support or judgement.
