FYI - maybe my memory evades me, but the Israeli school does not teach the israeli wars - When I finished highschool, I was totally ignorant about the Israeli wars.
I hope this could change - there are many good things and bad things to learn from what we did...

Fascinating. The fact that they would really plant trees next to hidden artillery bunkers in the Golan Heights, seems almost too astounding to believe though.
