Excusez mon anglais, mais…

I may be wrong but...

This is made up. It’s just plain gross and reactionary.

The author of the report are just the same British who are the olds privileged of the former colonial system in Zimbabwe which have leaved in 1999 70% of arable land in the hand of 4000 British white men. Those are attacked by the current redistribution of land enforce and till intensified by Mugabe in 2000.

No surprise that the blacks interviewed in this report are people tied to former colonial interest. And that all opposition parade just seems like they're being act. Not considering out of context clip.

Again they are preparing the western auditory to accept foreign military intervention against progressive government.

Farhad2000says...

Red you couldn't be more wrong, the undemocratic and despotic rule of Robert Mugabe has destroyed Zimbabwe's economy, inflation is nearly at 1400%, there is rampant unemployment and the standard of living has plummeted since independence in 1984. The ZANU-PF, Mugabe's own party wants to see him leave while he clings on to power and is pushing to be allowed to run for another 6 years.

Progressive goverment? Are you doing lines?

michiesays...

screw the economy he's killing his own people!!!

anyone who disagrees with his position is either beaten/killed or expelled. if he is being so progressive why is he so keen to hide what's going on in Zimbabwe?

Red

For too long Mugabe - and many in the media and academic world - have used land redistribution and colonialism as an excuse to justify or ignore a brutal and repressive dictatorship. Mugabe's land redistribution was not about equality but about power and wealth. While millions are starving he recently spent millions on his birthday party. As Farhad said - Progressive goverment? Are you doing lines?
