World in Conflict - Ruling the World Trailer

Amazing graphical showcase of the engine behind World of Conflict. Hopefully the game matches up. World in Conflict is a real-time tactic game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment. The game is set in 1989, where economic troubles, similar to the ones that occurred in real-life, cripple the Soviet Union to the extent where it must risk nuclear Armageddon to stay in power. The game will be played in the 2007 CPL World Tour.

This may be the game to drag me away from Supreme Commander. (But just maybe.) After playing the Ground Control games, I have no doubt that WiC will be quite good. I just hope it's not too fast paced for me. I'm getting too old for twitch gaming.

Oh wow. It's... so beautiful. Battlefield 2 didn't do it for me. After playing the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942, nothing else ever came close. This looks like it just might. I can't wait.

*80s-set game *commercial. They got a LOT of mileage out of that song in the game.
