I bet the cops have a serious hard-on for this guy. If a recording device is part of your body, do wiretap laws still apply?

But he can't actually see with the machine eye. It just records to his wireless device, which he can watch with his human eye. So.... what's the big deal? Wear a cap or glasses with a camera...much simpler.
