This is incredible. A single nanotube performs all four of the core functions of a radio: That of the antenna, the tuner, the amplifier and the demodulator. Plug in a battery and a speaker and you have music!

that's pretty cool, they actually use they physical length of tube to vibrate at one frequency (the carrier) which then provides the demod because only the envelope generates current.
