Perverted Justice is by far and large filled with people with little legal knowledge and too much time on their hands. They also need to learn the rules of entrapment, and what constitutes a crime.

...the real rub??-that justice, and responsibility for one's actions, has become something obscured and diluted to the point where we, as a society, make an issue out of the civil rights of a pedophile, when we should be making some chum for deep sea fishing with the corrupted's ground carcass ....When they walk in on one of these successful stings with the cameras, and in the presence of a handful of witnesses, there should then follow the "beating to a pulp" ceremony......what is left can be placed in a hole.

It's staggering that this merging of police investigation and entertainment shows can be tolerated. I first heard of this show on Charlie Brooker's ScreenWipe and like him I'm somewhat bemused/shocked by the kind of mainstream programming this produces and is deemed acceptable.
