Talking to the Taliban: it's a tribal/civil war, stupid

This video makes me feel awful that we're even bothering in Afghanistan: if we're just taking sides in what's essentially a civil war, we're wasting our time there.

im upvoting all these videos, but im extremely frustrated that i cant like triple upvote this one as talking about tribes and relating current affairs back to "family" and "roots" and "heritage" is so smart it makes all my parts go tingly and i go all nerd out and slober myself for history/worldaffairs things.

I saw the entire series as well, and it was awesomely educational about the hopelessness of this war. That country needs an industrial revolution or something.
