She continues on about how the U.S. government is trying to kill old people.

Don't watch if the thought of seeing the person who influences Sarah Palin's ideals and thoughts in person freaks the living daylights out of you.

LOL. Jon is hilarious as always.

He is -so- much more polite than I could be...she's just a flippin loon. I see no particular point in wasting time on her.

Yes, I'm AMAZED as to how well he holds it together.

Even though she's a loon, the best way to combat that is with tactful logic. Getting in to a shouting match (as many talk show hosts like to do) helps bring the argument down to the credibility of the arguer rather than the credibility of the argument.

And Jon keeps his conversations from breaking down to that point better than anyone!

But he never lands a killer blow, in my opinion. She had an answer for everything, she couldn't be pinned down on any statistic (sure, but let's take out violent crime and car accidents - what a ridiculous caveat) and she just talked through him with that crazy smile on her face.

In the end, they're right where they started - universal health care is designed to kill old people / no its not. Why doesn't someone ask whether it kills old people elsewhere? Is the Right saying that it kills old people in every country that has it, or is it a peculiarly American invention?
