Hey i think the pope acknowledged evolution and other pretty good scientific theories last week or the week before! Said something like it was foolish to ignore those things, and foolish to expect 'god' to have made everything exactly as it is, rather than establishing a ruleset and giving us a push in the right direction.

I guess they realised they were starting to lose popularity in the 21st century.
