I find it depressing in some ways , just think what the people that did this could have achieved with Photoshop or 3DS max or if they made there own game engine.

granted playing with logo can still be fun and there is something enjoyable playing with a very limited medium , but personally for me if I am going to invest a considerabal amount of time into something I would rather use more complex and less limiting tools. ( although I'm sure some would argue the limitations of the tools are actually a freeing aspect )

still as a toy/game like Lego I think mincraft can be good fun , I really hope they start making it so that objects can work in the game so the environments are not so dead. so a boat would work like a boat and also have a practical function in the game world , i think that would be fantastic.

I would not necessarily say the stuff in this video is particualy creative as most of it is simply directly copied from other fiction , in my personal view simply copying one thing from one medium into another mideam is not especially creative , when the medium you are copying it into does not require much creativity or problem solving to implement.
