Farhad2000says...Saw this on Joystiq, doesn't really look all that impressive. Hope the infra-red can be used eventually.
mugwumpjsays...Windows computer? That's a MacBook Pro (which can run Windows).
pragmaticksays...So it's a windows computer, eh?
Perhaps some gold member should mark it *nsfw
It's not all that impressive, but the first real demo of how the remote could be used on the pc, I am pretty sure there will be more and better hacks for that.
siftbotsays...Gold Star invocations (nsfw) cannot be executed by pragmatick because pragmatick is not a Gold Star member - sorry.
benjeesays...Up-vote as it's the first...I find the production on it a little weak (and the WiiMote infinitely more difficult in comparison to a mouse/keyboard).
And technically, any new Mac is a windows computer...due to Apple releasing a Legacy Mode update to EFI (the modern BIOS) called BootCamp. This allows all new Intel Apples to natively run any modern OS (OSX/XP/*NIX etc) - I've even booted to DOS on 'em!
MINKsays...upvote because i just love it when people repurpose stuff. video was kinda lame though, but better than reading a text article.
