NetRunnersays...This appears to be a clip of the first 59 seconds.
[edit]: Fixed now.
marinarasays...i just read it online. had some real good parts. I wanna say it was evasive. but i donno. Like if Obama made a point I didn't see it. Kind of like a apology, but you leave half of the apology out because you just have to get out of the fuckin room.
MaxWildersays...Pretty much just reassurance that he hasn't given up on the ideals laid out in his campaign. I love the way Obama speaks; it feels like he's the first president who really gets what is going on in American society, or at least is willing to speak plainly about it. And his optimism is always heartening. But if this year is as lack-luster as last, I won't be giving him a third chance for my support.
rougysays...He is a fine speaker - way better than that dope Ronald Reagan.
It was a great speech. Said all the right things.
But the question is, will he follow through?

That's my sentiment exactly. He bought himself more time in my book, but he really needs to whip the Senate into shape. Public shaming is useless on the shameless (read: Congress).
