If anyone's wondering: neither jumper may leave his half of the jumping circle before the ball was tapped and neither jumper may catch the ball before it touched the floor, the rim or any of the other eight non-jumpers.

So does that mean if one of his defense rushed in and performed the exact same move, it would be legal?
