Muhammad Ali vs Floyd Patterson 9-20-72 (Full)

In 1965, "Peek-a-Boo" Patterson fought Muhammad Ali in another attempt to be the first to win the World Heavyweight title three times. He lost by technical knockout at the end of the 12th round and Ali seemed to stretch the defeat into painful oblivion.

Ali had it in for Patterson calling him an "Uncle Tom" supposedly from Floyd's insistence on addressing Ali as Cassius Clay, his abandoned moniker given him by his ancestor's slave masters.

Patterson at 30-years-old in 1965 @ his peak gives Ali a run for his mouth and money.

Maybe there were better fighters - technically - than Ali. I don't know enough to comment, so I bow to boxing experts on that point. But, I'm sure that only a few would dispute the fact that he was the greatest. The man had it ALL, in and out of the ring, and I don't think we will see his like again.
