If u like this but prefer the more CG ore real time grfx side of it you should check out demosceen its blody fantastick and due to the real time nature and limitatoins imposed by the difrent catagories you end up with a far more contextual output and arguably requires far more skilled artistick ability to creait something beutifull

Yeah but real time rendering solutions only have two domains really, demo work as you mentioned and possible future integration into video games, I believe Spore for example has alot of developers from the demo scene working on procedural rendering in real time instead of pre-rendered art assets, because the scope of the game would make make traditional art asset creation too expensive and costly.

This is definitely something every major developer should really get into, in order to reduce the spiraling costs of video game development. Current trends would only lead to more of the same experiences rather then exploring the possibilities. Okay I'll stop now before I write a book.

This however is motion graphics for the medium of television and short productions. MTV used to be on the cutting edge of this before totally becoming corporate.
