Kiri - MONORAL From the anime: Ergo Proxy

The opening song from a decent anime named Ergo Proxy. Ergo Proxy itself may be a little too slow building and drab in the color department for some to watch. But if you do watch, it is very much a philosophical piece asking both questions of existence concerning God and you or more precisely I/me, introspectively--i.e. from the point of view of humans, robots, A.I. networked systems, imperfect "Gods", those created and stuck somewhere in the middle, and if God IS around he is as confused as his creations...

Beyond the question of, "I think therefore I am...", and if that is fully true, it asks something more of it's characters:

Is faith something worthwhile, ever? Or more properly said, can faith be used and loved in the life of someone's life who doesn't believe in a God...? Perhaps the best question that I think this answers is the exact subject I brought up: is faith as actionable and tangible as fact? Or at least, can it be? This anime brings this up, and has a pivotal moment (that is just as easily creatable in reality--fiction has no bearing on it's impact and truth) which you could arguably say that it proves that faith is an reliable, usable, and real thing as tangible as proof and facts... It is a strong, emotional, and dramatic moment.

Monoral provides this excellent opening piece of music for the show named Kiri.

At the end is a fun scene with the lead character complaining about something that is almost like a broken record in any normal family...

Oh and the lyrics i forgot to add on...

------
You complete my fate
The world unwinds inside of me
You complete my fate
The halo crawls away
You repeat my fate
Rewinding all we can
You refill my place
You refill my place

Come and save me
Come and save me

You complete my fate
The heavens stroll inside of me
You repeat my fate
Revealing who we are
You refill my place
You refill my place

Come and save me
Come and save me

Believe in me
Drink the wine
Take my hand
Fill me up

Believe in me
Drink the wine
Take my hand
Let me follow
