Just wow. So, someone on the sift brought up Dune. Mentioned it was originally being directed by Jodorowsky, I never heard that and was intrigued. Wiki said that he had wanted Magma, Floyd, Stockhausen and Henry Cow on the soundtrack. All bands that I like... especially Stockhausen... but I had not heard Henry Cow in some time. The last time I gave them a spin I think was years ago when I was sort of in the mood for digging up krautrock like early Kraftwerk, Faust, Amon Duul, Can, Cluster, Tangerine Dream. I wasnt having Henry Cow at the time, though I have been a fan of Fred Frith for a while... even posted a film he did on the sift a while back. Man, I am loving those commie bastards a lot right now.

Did some research on Henry Cows Tim Hodgkinson, he played in a band called K Space after the these experimental mirrors. Which led me to this very peculiar, horribly/ humorously subbed Russian segment.

I do not know what to think about it. I hate it, I love it, I dont care.

One thing is for certain: This definitely sheds new light on that age old phrase
about putting on a tin foil hat.... Whew weee must have taken a whole lot of tin foil to come up with this, man.

Youtubes: Is it possible to achieve altered states of consciousness by means of mirrors and travel in time? The film shows the results of Russian researchers in the field experiments with concave mirrors.
in time 6.00 should be - ( what happens with man under the influence of concave mirrors?)
Director: Vitalij Pravdivcev
Production: Goldmedium 2011

Very interesting, but definitely should be in the non existent New Age long*ed haired channel. I call bullshit until they put this tin foil on my head and I take it for a spin. Until then... there's still DMT for your hyperspace symbolism's.

But then again, who knows. Brion Gysin and William S Burroughs created the Dream Machine. I have used a dream machine before and it was fuckionng mind-mindbogglingly awesome. I even vectorised the schematics for easy printing if you have access to a large printer and sturdy yet bendable cardboard. These days laser cutters are all over so one could just get the material and send it to a cutter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOZh7oSUY30

And of course lets not forget the stories of people that have used isolation tanks aka floats in which the floater enters the theta state.
