It is back now because religious people have huge gaps in their education and critical thinking skills. The Dark Ages are the golden years for them. It would actually be AMAZING to stick a few of these idiots back in time for a couple months/years and see how much they actually love the progress, freedom, and acceptance that liberals have brought to the world.

It's a bit more complicated than this, particularly when the federal mafia has its tentacles in every aspect of our lives already.
