Breakdancing to "Beat It," Iranian style (1991)

This is not something one sees everyday... in Iran... men in parachute pants, in a living room, breakdancing amongst sitting women and children. WTF?

I love these kinds of clips because they show that people are similar, no matter nationality. Sure there are some pretty big differences, but they love to dance to Michael Jackson! And they are quite good!

Issykitty, your cultural bias is showing.

Behind closed doors Iranians are actually far more liberal in character than many other cultures, women lounge around in sexy clothing people party and drink. It's only on the streets that they appear to be so repressed. Remember these are Persians not Arabs, it's a completely different culture and although the Arab/Muslim influence has pushed normal Persian behaviour off the streets they haven't eliminated those attitudes entirely.
