Isn't all this caterwauling about the Mccain camp drawing a connection between the carved "B" and "Barack Obama" a little disingenuous? I think it was meant to be a rather obvious association, which is why she did it in the first place. If fault must be found, it ought to be with anyone pushing this story before it could be fully investigated, not for thinking B stood for Barack. Unless I'm a cynical bastard for not thinking it stood for "blueberry pie"...

Ok... i agree with you Shaky... but here is the thing... I remember when this story hit... SO many people looked at that photo and just started calling out all that was wrong... I know I did... I hoped it wasn't true, but very much put my urge to call this woman what i thought she was. Why was it so obvious to so many, and yet the McCain campaign couldn't get talking points out there fast enough... My problem with it is... you get the sense that they just wanted it to be true so badly...
