"The Proximity of Death (Blue Eyed Boy)" is the first single off artist Jordan Reyne's most recent album "HOW THE DEAD LIVE". It is a tale told in folk-noir style, inspired by the story of one of New Zealand's first pioneer women: Susannah Hawes. The CD follows a (fictive) dialogue between Susannah and History herself in the lonely west coast town of Karamea.
