We watched this in my Latin class. We laughed so hard at the cheesiness of the whole movie, but we still really liked it. A lot more than Ben-Hur.

This movie is utterly timeless... one of my favorites from childhood... Ben Hur as well...

Ray Harryhausen is the man!

Harryhausen was definitely a master. The time that goes into animating one second's worth of film is mind-boggling.

I remember this as a kid. I remember the risings like in Golden Axe's flying bird.

This is the one with the gaint octopus at the bottom of the pit under a bridge... the top of said pit inhabited by... spiderwebs/spiders, yes?

That image haunts me to this day, wherever it's from. I feel like I saw it in this movie on TBS. It wasn't Clash of The Titans, although that was great as well...
