"I kick ass for the Lord!" - from Braindead (Dead Alive)

Father McGruder delivers a classic cult film line as he attempts to fend off zombies in the horror-comedy Braindead by Peter Jackson. (Braindead is titled Dead Alive in North America.)

Oh yeah, I often thought of that after the first LOTR movie. What leap of faith huh? New Line must have been desperately at the end of rope. It's a shame what's gone down b/w them and Jackson over the Hobbit.

In North America it has been titled "Dead Alive", or it least it had been when I bought the movie about ten years ago. It's my second favorite bit from any Peter Jackson movie. The first being the Sodomy Song from Meet the Feebles (look it up on youtube) and the "I likes 'em when they lay still like that" bit from frighteners.

Thanks Myn, I didn't realize that was what Dead Alive was 'til now, I'd only seen the version a friend of mine showed me, and that was titled Braindead. So much for my knowledge of pop culture...I'll add it to the info, though.
