Happy Days - First Studio Audience Episode

This was the first episode shot multi-camera before a studio audience. The following season, Happy Days switched over to doing all the episodes that way. Directed by Jerry Paris.

And this is where it went downhill...when it emphasized Fonzi instead of Richie and his family.

The first season of this show was the best. Everything after they went to live studio audience was just crap....as a sizable chunk of the show was just people cheering when someone came onstage. I'm serious, after the cheering, they actually had about 10 minutes of actual content.

I thought it didn’t go downhill until Fonzie jumped the shark?
