Hail Storm Destroys Roof on University of Calgary Greenhouse

YouTube/psaulnier: 'From my office window, I was able to see the windows on a greenhouse get broken by the falling hail. Jump to 1:58 for a faster version. Damage was estimated at $100,000 according to CBC and 660News. Video taken by Paul Saulnier.'

Damn, can you imagine the cleanup? You'd be picking glass out of pots for years.

That hail storm a couple weeks ago caused so much damage to cars that all repair shops are booked solid through September. The hail were the size of golf balls. Damage estimates for these cars range anywhere from $300 to several thousand dollars.
