although that's pretty nice it still isn't made too well. there's a worldwide racing series for students called formula student. they also take gokarts and combine them with motorbike engines. but regarding to engineering those karts are very much more impressive (and often can only be financed through the help of sponsors).

Somehow I keep hearing Mario Kart's soundtrack in my head when I watch this video.
