Germany Arresting and Prosecuting Citizens for Criticism

Turkish President Erdogan, whom many consider to be a dictator due to his recent actions, complained to Germany's Chancellor about a satirical poem written by a German citizen and comedian. Erdogan has been doing his best to shut down free press and speech in Turkey, now he is branching out to other countries in the EU. Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany, personally called the satire deliberate and offensive. She later took that statement back, but has decided to use a little known law to prosecute the comedian and arrest others who simply quoted the poem.
