Barsepssays...Either which way, it's:-
*Fail
*Fire
*Wtf
*EIA
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Eia, Fail, Fire, Wtf) - requested by Barseps.
aaronfox142says...I'm an electrician, so I can tell you what he did could have caused an arc flash. They are very dangerous and can cause damage on that scale easily. I have experienced one first hand (on a higher voltage) and ended up taking an ambulance to the hospital to be treated for first degree burns to my face, neck and hands
LiquidDriftsays...Ya, it could happen, but this looks fake when you frame-by-frame it. The last few frames where he is lowering the knife, there is no metal on the knife, he's just holding a handle. The white flash also comes in clearly as a "wipe" effect from the bottom. Play it at 1/4 speed at 1:06 on YT, you can clearly see all this.
hamsteralliancesays...It looks and sounds like the same guy from this video: http://videosift.com/video/Harlem-Shake-Goes-Horribly-Wrong
articiansays...You don't even have to slow it down to see the lack of a handle.
From a psychological perspective, you can tell it's fake from the way the dipshit sets up the camera. They always, ALWAYS frame up their pretty-little-face first, and stare into the lens for 5 seconds too long, just to let the audience know "this is totally an amateur video!"
.. When amateurs never fucking do that.
mindbrainsays...To add to the statements above the average jabroni that makes one of these, fake as real, videos usually fail hard at faking the "levity amongst friends in an off-the-cuff scenario" bit.
DEAD GIVEAWAY.
Fletchsays...Fake or real? Really fake.
