It sickens me that this guy invokes his god for salvation and redemption. No doubt the very same god invoked by his victims, just before they were murdered. Why didn't he find god before he was incarcerated? Simple, coming in front of the parole board, having "found god," can work wonders. Yep, god works in mysterious ways people..

This man isn't being insincere, and many people come to know God in prison. It's expected though that there is always some other explanation for someone who writes off the possibility of divine intervention apriori. Why don't you assume for the sake of argument that God really did save him..do you think that God shouldn't have forgiven him?

You cannot assume there is a god. There either is, or there isn't. As for god "forgiving" him; what kind of a god forgives rapists, murderers etc, yet consigns to hell those who worship a different god? Gods are made by man, for man to subjugate man. It's that simple-I'm done.

And you assume there isn't one. How do you come to that conclusion? Yet I don't assume there is a God, I know there is a God.

God doesn't show partiality between people. We have a relative standard of good which says that as long as you're not a murderer or a child molester you are a good person. Gods standard of good is moral perfection, and He considers anything falling short of that evil. That is why He is holy, and we are not.

Whether you are a liar, a thief, a murderer of an idolator, He doesn't show any partiality with sinners. One sin is enough to send you to hell. He forgives sinners because of Jesus Christ. He paid the price on the cross for all sin, and His blood is sufficient to cover all of our sins. What matters is that you respond to Gods offer of salvation, not what you have done. When you accept Jesus God will give you a new heart with new desires; He will make you a new man.

Why do criminals always find God in prison? When will he be released so that I can meet the myth?

Oh, I misread what you said. Do you know that 1/3 of the worlds population calls themselves Christian? You can't pigeonhole Christians..we call from every social class, every type of environment, every kind of circumstance..people find God in innumerable ways. It's really though, that God finds you by leading you to Himself.
