Lawrence O’Donnell asks Howard Dean what he thinks about the Republicans latest fiasco where they threw their own donors under the bus.

Well Howard, the Democratic Party might not be this openly contemptuous of its progressive wing, or they just haven't been stupid enough to put it in writing.

The only thing I'd change in your description is a slight rewording of the last sentence to "At least they haven't been stupid enough..."

I do love the interviewer's statement, "You've done a great job of not openly gloating tonight." And Dean's response was just priceless.
