Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says the Bush administration was not prepared for the collapse of Iraq. "We were way too focused on Baghdad." "In my heart, I was worried," admits Rice. "I thought that if the surge did not work, then we had played our last card."

Her statement about the expectation that a civil service would stay in place is a misrepresentation of facts.

It has been clearly shown that the Bush administration had thrown out various plans created for post-war reconstruction in Iraq, not involved the necessary federal agencies, brought in inexperienced politically motivated individuals to lead reconstruction efforts and made various decisions detrimental to maintaining civil society the largest being disbanding the Iraq military and police.

fucking politicians, if i had been in her position i would not feal comfortable showing my face , id probably have committed suicide for my role in murdering innocent people. And for a complete lack of education in history and basic tactical knowledge.
