Cano Cristales River, Colombia's Hidden River Of Many Colors

Cano Cristales may be the most beautiful river in South America, known for its many colors. Located near La Macarena, Columbia, the region has only recently been protected by the military, before the Colombian National Army was stationed in and around the town of La Macarena it was considered a dangerous and violent area.
La Clavigera Macarena is a water plant that only grows in the region that gives the river the red, white, black, yellow, pink, and orange hues. Along with the emerald green waters, it really is a rainbow river. This drone footage shows off a number of sections of the river.
