Even with the mean and jerky things people say, even with the girl crying about kids bullying her, I simply don't see Atheists being subjected to the kind of wipespread vitriol that say any other sect has in the 20th century. Yeah people are mean, sometimes it's unfair but the world is way more civilized than it used to be and the examples here I think show that.

Not saying it's right, just saying that black backgrounds, nice pictures, and haunting music is a bit much. Now if you said all these people were dead because they were atheists, that would be more powerful.

But
The fact that their is sufficient hatred and ignorance to rank atheists as less trustworthy than known rapists does speak to a looming problem. Whenever I see or read something like that it really does boggle the mind. It really does leave me wondering what believers are taught about atheists. Must be some awful stuff.
