Kruposays...Heh, smashed office equipment. I like the "Bridge Ahead Under Fire" sign. I should put that up somewhere in the area for kicks.
9713says...The attitude that results in a documentary about the Second World War being named 'America's War' is responsible for 99.9% of anti-American sentiment in the world.
Like, seriously. 23 million Soviets (14% of the population) died; Britain endured rationing until 1954, ; Japan got 2 nuclear bombs dropped on its cities; Germany was flattened to rubble. The USA lost a paltry 0.4 million soldiers (0.32% population) and virtually no civilians, didn't have any rationing at all, and never suffered any mainland attacks, but it's called "America's War". Am I the only person here that thinks that's disgustingly inappropriate?
qbertsays...Agree with the second paragraph of your comment, anyway. The first, well, I guess that was hyperbole... ;o)
antsays...Where are the other parts???
Thylansays...America's war was Vietnam. WW2 belonged to a shit lot of people.

13929says..."The USA......didn't have any rationing at all"? I agree with your comments except for this part, maybe I'm not understanding you. I thought there was a lot of rationing in the US during WWII, like gasoline, meat, nylons, etc.
