'American Movie' - Mike Schank Talks

This is part of a doco about the making of Mark Borchardt's independent film(s). These clips are mostly of his buddy, Mike, a sweet guy who just maaaay have taken a few too many drugs. Wonderful film, great characters, highly recommended if you haven't already seen it.

Saw this at the Chicago International Film Festival, and Mark and Mike were there, along with Chris Smith who made this film. Right at the beginning, and for a ways into the film, we didn't know if this was real or a "Spinal Tap" style spoof. We even bought Mark Borchardt's film "Coven" from him.
